Ausangate is the best option for hiking at altitude in the Cusco region. It is a Trek through spectacular mountain landscapes, snow-covered peaks, thermal springs, turquoise lakes and glaciers. Day 1
  • CUSCO (3399 m.s.n.m.) - TINKI (3800 m. START OF HIKING) - UPIS (4400 m.) (Distance 10 km. Walking time 3 - 4 hrs approximately).
  • Minimum altitude: 3150 m • Maximum altitude: 4400 m.
  • 5:30. Depart from Cusco Hotel - Tinki.
  • 10:30. Beginning of the hike in Tinki.
  • 12:30. Lunch on the way.
  • 16:00. Arrival at Upis (first camp).

  • 12:00. Lunch in Tinqui.

USEFUL INFORMATION
